New CVS and Stop & Shop coupons

A couple of new saving opportunities for you:

First, if you got a newspaper today, check it for a $5 off $20 coupon from CVS! This coupon expires Saturday, so if you haven't already gotten your CVS deals for the week this will make them even better. In my Hartford Courant, the coupon was part of an ad wrapper that went over the front page.

Second, when I was at Stop & Shop today, I saw a new booklet called "Healthy Ideas." Here's what it looks like (sorry for the bad cell phone pic):

Inside there are a couple of manufacturer coupons.

• $1/2 Francisco Rinaldi ToBe Healthy pasta sauce
• $0.75/2 Ragu pasta sauce (has S&S logo, but is a mfg coupon)
• $0.50/1 Olivio butter product
• $1/2 Morning Star veggie food products

I don't know if this is regional or if the coupons may vary by store. This is a free booklet, and it also includes recipe cards, so if you see one go ahead and grab it. They are all manufacturer coupons that you can use at any store, although some cashiers at other chains might give you a hard time over the S&S logo on the Ragu (however, it does not state that you can only redeem at S&S!).

I am chaperoning a field trip to an amusement park tomorrow, so I stopped by Walgreens today to pick up my Banana Boat/Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen. While I was looking for the SPF 800, I saw a sign that makes the great BOGO deal even better: Buy two BB/HT products, you can get a FREE 6oz Walgreens Aloe Vera Gel! If you get the Hartford Courant, be sure to check the back page of the main section - there is a $5 coupon off a $20 purchase at CVS! This is wicked cool. However, it expires on 5/28 - that is Saturday. So be sure to put together a shopping list soon!

CVS Deals and Coupon Matchups 5/15/11 - 5/21/11

CVS seems kind of meh this week - no freebies, not much for super cheap. However, I have heard reports that all sorts of goodies are printing from the CVS coupon kiosk when you scan your card - $3/10 grocery items, $3/$10 healthcare items, and more. If you get the grocery coupon, there is also an Extra Bucks deal on select gum and candy - spend $10, get $3. If the store coupon is vague like this, it is usually up to the cashier to decide what counts as "grocery" or "healthcare." Sometimes I'm able to get things like lip balm to count as health (it's with the cough drops!), and sometimes not. YMMV! (Your mileage may vary)

Couponing For Community - What can you get this week?

New Schick Hydro coupon - drugstore deals

There is a new $3 Schick Hydro coupon on Facebook. It is kind of hard to find, though. First, of course, you have to "like" them. (You can always unlike them later.) Then go to the "Have a Blast" tab on the left.

You get one of those crazy graphics with link maps. Under the suitcase that says "Win cool travel prizes" is the link to "Get Coupons." From there you will be taken to the page where you can print your $3 coupon.

Anyway, both CVS and Walgreens sales on Schick Hydro this week. I will be updating my CVS matchup to include this coupon! (Walgreens is already up.)

I am starting to feel seriously shorted on my coupon inserts this week! It appears that some of the best ones must have been regional, like the BOGO Biore coupon and the $2/1 John Frieda coupon.
